Certified care that performs.
Trusted since 1994.
Naty began in 1994 with a Swedish mother's bold idea to replace fossil-based plastics in diapers with plant-based, skin-safe materials. Today, we’re a global leader in certified plant-based hygiene care for babies and women, committed to safer products for every body and the world we share.
It started with a simple question
Can everyday care be made differently?
In 1994, Swedish lawyer, mother, and founder Marlene Sandberg was looking for a better alternative to conventional disposable nappies. After five years of research and development, she launched Naty with a new idea: replace some of the fossil-based plastics used in everyday hygiene products with materials from renewable sources.
That idea became a company. And the question stayed with us.
Today, Naty develops hygiene care for babies and women, from nappies and wipes to period care. We keep looking at the materials, the details and the evidence behind our products - because better care starts with asking better questions.
We don't believe you should have to choose between performance and what matters to you. We believe in doing the work to make everyday essentials differently.
The things we use every day deserve a closer look.
At Naty, we start with the materials. We look for alternatives to conventional fossil-based plastics and choose plant-based or renewable materials where they make sense for the product. We then put them through the same test that matters most: do they work?
That means thinking about softness, absorbency, breathability, fit and protection alongside material choices. It also means being honest about where we are today. Not every part of a hygiene product can be changed overnight, and we won't pretend otherwise.
For us, progress is practical. Find a better material. Test it. Improve the product. Then do it again.
A shorter name. A clearer idea.
For years, you knew us as Eco by Naty. Today, we're simply Naty.
"Eco" had turned into a word almost anyone could use, whether it meant anything or not, so we decided our certifications should do the talking instead. So if you still spot "Eco by Naty" somewhere, now you know why.
The name is simpler. What stands behind it is not.
Naty is still Swedish at heart. Still focused on plant-based and renewable material innovation. Still committed to products that perform in real life. And still looking for better answers to everyday needs.
You shouldn't have to take our word for it.
Where a claim matters, we look for independent testing and certification to back it up. Across our range, this includes recognised standards and independent verification covering areas such as material content, responsible sourcing, skin safety, organic materials and compostability.
Certifications vary by product, because different products use different materials and need to meet different requirements.
